Some of you might know it as the Million Dollar Spaghetti, or Viral Baked Spaghetti. This recipe is where traditional spaghetti meets a luscious Alfredo sauce. Learn how to whip up this not so Italian classic with a modern twist in just minutes!
Cook pasta according to package instructions.
To a saucepan, add oil, ground beef and onions. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Next, add garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, marinara sauce, water, and mix.
Allow the spaghetti sauce to come to a boil, reduce heat, stir, and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a separate saucepan, over medium low heat add butter. Once butter has melted ad garlic cloves. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant, pour in heavy cream, sprinkle in parmesan cheese. Once cheese has melted add salt, parsley and Italian seasoning. Bring sauce to a low simmer, about 7 minutes.
In a baking dish, add cooked pasta, pour in Alfredo sauce and mix until spaghetti is coated. Next, spaghetti sauce directly on top (DO NOT MIX) smooth sauce only on top. Sprinkle cheese on top of the sauce and bake in a 400 degree oven about 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Pro Tip: if you’d prefer your cheese be crispy and somewhat browned on top you’ll need to broil the baked spaghetti on high for 1-3 minutes.
Garnish with dried parsley, if desired. Enjoy!
